About the event
Sunsets on 1870 Farm will be held on several Saturdays throughout the spring, summer, and fall seasons, offering a wonderful opportunity to enjoy the farm while supporting a great cause. Proceeds benefit The Kids Farm Foundation, which provides scholarships for farm programs and assists with animal rescues. Visitors can explore the farm at their own pace, enjoy live music, delicious food and drinks, and indulge in Howling Cow Ice Cream from NC State. Admission is just $30 per vehicle, covering all passengers and including access to the animal village, live music, fun and games, and picnic areas. Guests can also feed our friendly farm animals.
You may bring your own outside food to picnic, but alcoholic beverages are only allowed if purchased from the farm. We offer 8-10 fishing tickets each Sunset Saturday Event for $10, which grant access to our fishing dock and boat during the event. Our goal…

Fishing Boat
We sell only 8-10 tickets to make sure there is plenty of room to fish. The pond contains, Bass, Catfish, Blue Gills and Bream. We recommend booking ahead if you would like to fish. Price includes a bamboo pole if you do not have your own. Catch and Release Only Please. Our secret bait is also available for $3.00. Please note as we limit space on the dock/boat all passengers must purchase a ticket whether you fish or not.
