SUMMER 2018 SCHEDULES & TICKETS

A few examples of classes below!

Chicken Time  – Meet our exotic chickens at the chicken hotel, sit down for chicken story time and end with collecting the eggs that Marigold the Escaped Chicken laid around the farm.

 

Farm Animal Safari  –  Start the morning practicing animal sounds to prepare for an “animal safari” hay ride through the pasture. Make sheep mask disguises and take a memorable hayride through the pasture to "fish" for animals with Carrots.

KinderGardening – "Trucking Onions" in the garden. We will create a very busy toy truck road through the garden for children to dump seedlings into the soil and help us plant for summer! They will get to visit the garden throughout the series to check on their plants and take a plant home as well!

Pony Painting  –  Start the morning off with a horse story time, meet pearl the miniature pony and learn the horse body parts in the best way possible, painting her! *please bring your own smock, clothes that you don’t mind getting washable paint on.

Scarecrow Making - Read "The Scarecrow's Hat" and learn animal noises to later "ask" the animals for help making a scarecrow. They will collection hay from the goats and wool from the sheep and alpacas and eventually build a real scarecrow.

Let's get MOOOving - Start the morning with a cow song and dance with cowbells, Bottle feed baby cows, create fake udders to "milk" and finish off with homemade ice cream!

Growing Gardener

$60 for 4, 1 hour classes (Parent/Toddler Class)

Ages 1 -5 (Under 1 is free)

This 1 hour session in the Educational Garden is designed for 1-5 year olds that just love dirt, gardening and growing things! Your toddlers will enjoy watering areas, tasting, trucking, story time, seed planting, vegetable painting and more! This class has many activities but is slightly less structured than the Toddler/Parent Farm Class.

 

Additionally, this is not an animal-focused class, but there will be an animal (likely a goat or chicken) in the garden.

Class is limited to 12 children!

Farm Class

$90 for 4, 1 hour classes | $55 siblings (Parent/Toddler Class)

Ages 1 -5 (Under 1 is free)

Spend an hour on the farm with your child, ages 1-5, while they explore the wonders of the farm! This is a 4-week session (one day a week) where a parent or guardian must be present. Activities include anything from learning to hop with bunnies, bottle feeding baby cows, painting a pony, wearing a chicken on their head and so much more!

Class is limited to 10 children!

*We are offering 2 classes designed for toddlers with older siblings (Siblings 5-9). July Wednesday @ 4PM & August Sunday @ 10:30

Animals: All classes will meet and have hands-on time with goats, alpacas, chickens, sheep a bunny rabbit, a horse, donkeys, a turkey and our cow!

Thanksgiving - Meet our Turkey, harvest pumpkins and cranberries from the garden to make our pet turkey a Farm-to-Table meal! 

 

Fall Favorites - Explore the wonders of Fall at the farm including Fall leaves, Pumpkin and gourd painting, apple art, corn exploration and a goat hayride. Get ready for a Halloween goat surprise.

Bunny Time - Learn to hop like a bunny with a song and meet Mr. Floppers, our lovable bunny. participants will make a snack for the bunny and a craft to take home.
